Dr. Truesdale utilizes integrated, evidencedbased approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, clinical hypnosis, DBT, ACT, and MI, all rooted in clientcentered care with a social justice focus. When working with clients, Dr. Truesdale views her clients as the expert of their lives and understands that everyones life experience is different. She personalizes her treatment to each client and has a huge focus on building a therapeutic relationship. Her goal is to make a difference in the lives of those that she works with and she believes in each of her clients capabilities to live a healthy, meaningful, and fulfilled life Dr. Truesdale has experience working in various settings such as community mental health, outpatient clinics, college counseling centers, and inpatient settings. She has also worked as a crisis clinician, an inhome therapy clinician, and has experience providing community outreach and psychological testing. Dr. Truesdale earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Springfield College in August 2020. She also earned her masters from Springfield College in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
