Getting to know Tiffini Lasch

Tiffini Lasch is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Her passion is developing and expanding integrative mental health care. With more than 15 years in the medical field, she strongly believes that physical and mental health must work together for true well-being. Tiffini supports individuals facing mental health challenges through psychotherapy and psychopharmacology—helping patients recover, build coping skills, and develop resilience. As she often says, “When it comes to adult mental health, we are only as emotionally prepared as those who raised us—unless we choose to expand our understanding.” Her background includes inpatient care, outpatient care, and intensive outpatient programs. She has experience treating major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, somatic disorders, psychotic disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Born and raised in Ohio, her curiosity for life inspired her to live in several states across the country. These experiences deepened her appreciation for diversity and cultural differences. Over the years, she has been a strong advocate for reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness and encouraging communities to talk openly about mental health. What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in treating the whole person with in-depth conversation. The patient is the core of their care. Together we focus on interconnected physical, mental, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual wellbeing. I am specializing in Spravato treatments for patients who suffer from treatment resistance depression. This means they have tried antidepressants and have found them to be suboptimal.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initial consultations can take up to 60 to 90 minutes. In this consultation we will explore present mental health illness, past mental health illness, medical history, family psychiatric history, and social history. Patients completing Spravato treatments can expect a 2-hour session on treatment days. Follow-up visits are usually 30 minutes, I believe in giving the patient time to discuss progress, setbacks, and ask questions pertaining to their mental health. Patients should be their own advocates for their mental health.
