Timothy S. Mountcastle, M.D. is a Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, General Surgeon, and the Medical Director of Mountcastle Plastic Surgery & Vein Institute serving the Northern Virginia area. Staff is kind, cheerful, knowledgeable, and go over and beyond to help you! Dr. Mountcastle is humble, listens, and passionate about what he does everyday to help patients. He actually came over to the office and saw me after doing surgery even though it was not a clinic day. Huge thanks to him and his staff!

I was able to make an appointment two days out with several times to choose from, the zocdoc app allowed me to e-sign all paperwork ahead of time, I was seen on time, the front desk and staff were very efficient, communicative and friendly, Dr Mountcastle recommended treatment (minor dermatolgical surgery) and then offered to perform the procedure then and there and for a reasonable fee (this was an out of pocket expense). Practically unheard of - it doesn't get better than that!

From walking in to walking out my experience was top-notch! I went in for a consultation for a breast augmentation and/or lift, and from the moment I walked in and was greeted, it was clear this was a well-run practice. I was impressed by how efficient everyone was while also being cheery and informative. They have things down to a science! It made me feel like I was in good and practiced hands. I spent the most time with Sarah, Dr. Mountcastle's assistant, but that's because I had very few questions for Dr. Mountcastle since I had done my research and asked Sarah the more technical questions about implant projection and surgical technique I could have saved for him. Sarah even helped me decide on implant sizing when I said I'm not a good judge of proportion. We picked sizes that seem to be a good fit, and she assured me I'll have another chance. Dr. Mountcastle was also incredibly personable and professional. I'm waiting for my financing to come through, and then I'm scheduling!!

Dr. Mountcastle and staff really helped set my mind at ease when my 1.5 year old had to be seen due to a reoccurring lip laceration! They were prompt and listened to my concerns and played with my son who was as happy as could be. I felt so comfortable and just want to say THANK YOU. After seeing 4 doctors at Urgent Cares, and a Pediatrician that weren't helping me with his injury, I was so happy to come here for treatment for my little one.
