My 19+ years of experience as a registered nurse, combined with my specialized training in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, allows me to effectively manage a wide range of mental health conditions across the adult lifespan. What should a new client know about working with you?

"Welcome! I'm committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care as a PMHNP. We'll work together to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your specific needs and goals. I utilize evidence-based practices, including psychotherapy and medication management (if applicable) to address your mental health concerns. My priority is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable openly discussing your challenges. I specialize in managing a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. At our first appointment, we'll discuss your background and goals in detail. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions before then.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Here is my process of working with a client. Initial Contact: • Inquiry: A potential client reaches out for my services through a phone call, email, online form, or in-person visit. • Consultation: An initial consultation is scheduled to discuss the client's needs, services, and answer any questions they might have. Intake and Assessment: • Information Gathering: If the client decides to move forward, they'll typically complete paperwork or have an intake session to gather detailed information about their situation, background, and goals. • Assessment: Based on the information gathered, I'll conduct a professional assessment to determine the best course of action. This might involve standardized tests, reviewing medical records, or clinical interviews. Planning and Implementation: • Treatment Plan: I'll collaborate with the client to develop a personalized treatment plan that outlines the specific goals, interventions, and expected timeline. • Implementation: The actual work of providing my service begins. This could involve therapy sessions, creating a training program, designing a marketing campaign, or any other service you offer. Monitoring and Evaluation: • Regular Check-ins: I’ll have regular check-ins with the client to monitor progress, address any challenges, and adjust the treatment plan as needed. [Communication: Clear and open communication is essential throughout this entire process to ensure the client feels heard and understood.] • Evaluation: At predetermined points or upon completion of the service, you'll evaluate the effectiveness of the plan and discuss next steps with the client. Termination: • Gradual Process (Optional): In some cases, there might be a gradual process of weaning the client off your services as they become more independent or reach their goals
