Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Tobey Schilling is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, licensed professional counselor, certified music therapist, and certified holistic health counselor. She completed her master’s degree in Family Health Nursing at Thomas Jefferson University in the Philadelphia area. Additionally, she holds a certificate in Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Drexel University, a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Arts, and an associate’s degree from Harcum College. Ms. Schilling sees patients across the lifespan, from youth to adults.
Ms. Schilling has been working in the mental health field as a psychiatric nurse practitioner for the past 9 years and as a therapist for the past 25 years. She incorporates the Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Scope of Practice by promoting mental health through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric, behavioral, and comorbid conditions.
She focuses on the integration of psychiatry, healthy eating, and therapy, working to assist patients in achieving balance in their lives.

I have had the pleasure of working with Tobey in my therapy practice. She is a thorough, thoughtful and well versed in medication management in conjunction with trauma informed interventions, family systems work and nutritional and physical health to alleviate symptoms. She goes above and beyond in care for her clients and works to ensure that all systems involved with client care are collaborative and working to ensure all client goals are met.

I have been with Tobey Shilling for almost a year and she has provided me with significant progress in my mental health. Tobey is exceptionally gifted in getting to the center of an issue and is very compassionate. I was impressed by the way that she allows each session to be a conversation not me just talking with no feedback. Tobey is a straightforward professional and provides significant feedback during each session. Also commendable is during the first session Tobey will initiate a series of questions that she uses to monitor my progress and can measure the progress I’ve made. I would not hesitate to recommend Tobey to anyone who would like to be well with themselves and is looking for answers as to their wellbeing.

I highly recommend Nurse Practitioner Tobey Schilling. I've worked with her on and off for many years. She has great insight, compassion and is one of the smartest, most thorough healthcare providers with whom I've worked. She also takes great effort to confer & communicate with my other HC providers when needed.
