I saw Dr.Mekles for 6 months. He made me feel uncomfortable during these times (he would always ask if I were dating anyone and stated that he was sure guys would go up to me in bars because I'm attractive) and threw medicine at me every few weeks. I was feeling awful and he suggested electroshock and hospital visits. My therapist was also never able to get in touch with him. Being he was the first psychiatrist I ever saw, I didn't realize how awful his approach was. I now (months and months later) see a psychiatrist who genetic tested me, works with slow but steady medication changes, and I have been doing WAY better. Would never recommend Dr.Mekles.

My visit with Dr. Mekles was overall superb. Finding a solid provider that you mesh with is never easy, but my time with Dr. Mekles has been nothing short of amazing. He makes you feel safe, secure and heard during your appointments. He never rushes you (which is usual for other telehealth apts), he listens to your concerns and issues and always works with you to provide the best care (specific to you and your needs). I would highly recommend Dr. Mekles to anyone!

Dr. Mekles literally saved my life. After taking a birth control that didn't react well to, I had panic attacks for 4 days straight. Dr. Mekles was incredibly quick to see me and prioritze my mental well being. I called him at 9:30 PM and 7 AM and to both of those he was extremely responsive and caring. I am feeling 100% better after his support and would highly recommend him if you are looking for someone to ease your nerves and get you back to feeling normal. My friends and family even know his name at this point. Thank you Dr. Mekles!

Dr. Mekles has been helping me with my bi-polar depression, ADHD, and high anxiety issues. I spent 15 months with other psychiatrists prior who missed diagnosis me. Through medication and careful listening he is really helping me get my life back on track. Todays, visit was excellent he help reduce my anxiety with dealing with the responsibilities of adult living. He never criticizes or makes you feel like less of a person. I have been working on my issues for a couple of years and finally found the right psychiatrist.

If you seek a psychiatrist who really cares for his patients, I highly recommend you, Dr. Mekles. I've been in treatment with Dr. Mekles for almost a year and he has helped me significantly. Since the 1st day, he made sure to establish a therapeutic space where I felt comfortable addressing any concerns I had. Also, he has made sure to prescribe me medications that work best for me in combination with relevant psychological strategies.

Dr. Mekles meets with me weekly as we identify the best treatment plan. He listens to my issues and concerns, asks follow up questions for better understanding and clarity, and recommends next steps. He encourages his patients to text his cell if any issues or questions and is always super responsive, almost immediately. Since meeting with Dr. Mekles, I have made a 180 degree turnaround with my issues and resolved them completely.

My visits with Dr Mekles are always great. He really takes the time to ask how everything is going and listen to everything i have going on. He provides great feedback and advice. Since I started going to Dr Mekles my quality of life has improved greatly as he helped me find what works best for me. Great Dr and I will continue seeing him for quite some time!

Real talk: Dr. Mekles is caring, honest, and a genuinely kind practitioner. He' s kept me accountable and been patient as we' ve explored different medications for me. I can honestly say that he' s helped me break my way through some dark times. Obviously, I don' t now if he ' ll help you in the same way-but I DO KNOW that I would (and do) recommend him. Dr. Mekles is the IDEAL doctor for long-term care and treatment management. I've been dealing with this my entire life but as I got older and better at managing my condition, the same wasn't true for my doctors. Except for Dr. Mekles, who has actually helped treat me as the patient I am now! He's made care so much easier and less stressful. Big fan!

I had a very unpleasant experience with Dr. Mekles. He was quick to diagnose, and made me feel ashamed of some of the symptoms that I was experiencing. He took a phone call in the middle of our session, and told me that he "only has winners" in his office. I will never go back to him.

Dr Todd Mekles doesn’t have the bare minimum of humanity to treat a patient. I felt like I was dealing with a machine. After mentioning the word “anxiety” he just jumped to prescribe something without hearing anything else about my problem. I strongly suggest to look for a different specialist, since you’ll left his office feeling worse than before.

He need to have a receptionist or someone to coordinate his schedule. It was very difficult & hard to reach him to reschedule a follow-up both email and texts. He would not get back to you like a week or 2. When is he is available it would be like 9:30pm or 10pm, which is odd. It is great to the working professional but I need my rest so i can go to my 9-5 job. Weird location, experience and difficult to find.
