Tolu is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than six years of experience working with patients with mental health concerns across the lifespan. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Maryland and his Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, from Walden University. He has worked as a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse in various settings, including inpatient psychiatry, crisis intervention, home health, addiction, education, and outpatient psychiatry.
Tolu is experienced in treating and evaluating a broad range of psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, anger management, and psychotic disorders. One of his main goals as a practitioner is to advocate for his patients and raise awareness about mental health to help remove the stigma surrounding mental illness. Tolu believes in empowering patients to actively participate in their treatment plans to improve their quality of life.
