Dr. Rivera-Bonilla completed one-year at the prestigious Endovascular Fellowship in First Coast Cardiovascular Institute, Jacksonville, Florida, where he had the privilege of working with some of the most renowned experts in the field of peripheral vascular interventions. Dr. Rivera-Bonilla has an expertise in the latest non-surgical less invasive treatment options for peripheral artery disease, critical limb ischemia, deep and superficial venous interventions and AV fistula and graft revascularization. Dr. Rivera-Bonilla is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Endovascular Medicine, Vascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography and Vascular Interpretation

I felt rushed by this provider and could hardly even get a word in edgewise to actually explain the care I was seeking unless I interrupted him. He immediately suggested to put me on a medication without even fully hearing my complaint or completing any testing besides a bedside EKG that was unremarkable which is not what I was looking for at all. I scheduled my follow up appointment at the time of original consult but am still debating with myself if I should cancel and start over with another provider because of how poorly I felt about the interaction.
