I got my dermatologist appointment and family doctor all in one visit!!!! Dr. Raoof is my new favorite doctor! He throughly took care of me in a quick amount of time and was friendly and informative. He takes his work seriously and you can tell he wants whats best for his patients. With this doctor KNOW that you are in great hands.

Dr. T. Joseph Raoof has been practicing medicine for the past 22 years. His internist graduate degree was obtained from the prestigious Colombia University and USC. He specializes in internal medicine, hypertension, with special interest in dermatology utilizing only the most up-to-date procedures and medical analysis. As clinical assistant professor of medicine at USC medical center, Dr. Raoof has done extensive research in hypertension, otherwise known as high blood pressure. His private office is equipped with complete diagnostic tools for analysis and treatment of different medical problems.

I’ve seen Dr Raoof twice and both times he was very short and dismissive of my health complaints. Somewhat rude and seemingly annoyed to be seeing me. He just recommended medicine I can buy at a drugstore instead of helping me beyond that point.

My appointment was at 3:30, and I arrived on time. At 4:30 I was brought back to an exam room. Office closes at 5, and I asked after a few minutes if they knew when/if I would be seen by Dr Raoof, and the woman at the front desk said she did not know. This was a follow-up after a relatively easy initial appointment. I will not be returning and would not recommend Dr Raoof.

Dr. Raoof was very nice, as were his assistants. All listened to me carefully, and discussed issues thoroughly, in a good-humored way. I wasn't looking forward to this visit, but came out of it feeling pretty good. Dr. Raoof is now my primary care physician.

It was clear he was in a hurry and didn't take the time to listen to my concerns. A week later, I am having to return to a different doctor to see if they can help me for my allergic reaction.

Dr. Raoof was very professional and listened to all of my symptoms and told me the best course of action, giving me a few options. He was direct but had a great personality. His daughter is an NP and will be joining his practice, so he let me know if I wanted to see a female instead of him for any reason she was available to me, which was really nice since I am typically used to seeing female doctors. She introduced herself as well and was very knowledgeable with a great attitude.

I have an insurance with full converage, yet I was charged OUTRAGEOUSLY!
I could have done the blood work from Quest, but they did it anyways. what would happen to people who can't afford it? Don't they suppose to let them know/if they can afford it or not? How come they don't tell/discuss with you before starting treatment or procedures or anything to make sure that patience is ready to face the bill not sending them with a them? If I couldn't pay what would happen?

Visit was good. He was friendly, though the front staff could have used a bit more of a welcoming smile on their disposition. There was also TOO much energy around money from the minute you walk in. All of the paperwork to sign was about payments, arbitration, credit card numbers in case checks bounce, etc. and the signs on the wall were about rigid payment policies, etc. He should change that. Gives the impression he is one of those doctors who is more focused on money than care. There is a way to do both without shoving it down your throat. Other than that, my experience with him when he came in was pleasant. He cracked a few jokes and made me feel at ease, and I was in and out quickly.
