IN HER OWN WORDS I am a mom, military spouse (yahhh, go Coast Guard) and a pediatrician with a deep passion for behavioral health. It’s a privilege to be a pediatrician—it’s humbling work. VACCINATIONS@BLUEBIRD KIDS As pediatric clinicians—and parents ourselves—we believe in preventive medicine and that vaccinations are safe, effective, and vital to prevent serious illness, suffering, and even death. We recommend patients follow the American Academy of Pediatrics vaccination schedule, as our own children do. We will work with families who wish to learn more about vaccines if they meet our minimum vaccination requirements (school schedule). If parents choose not to vaccinate at all, we respectfully recommend seeking care with a pediatrician more aligned with their beliefs.
