About Tova Braver
Tova Braver, PA-C, is a NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical dermatology. Tova hails from Detroit and received her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University, New York. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is currently completing her Diplomate fellowship through the SDPA.
Prior to starting her journey as a PA, Tova spent time working as a medical assistant in pain management, ophthalmology, and family medicine. These experiences have given her a broad understanding of patient care and an increased sensitivity to patients' needs. After graduating from PA school, Tova began her career in dermatology in Queens and Brooklyn, gaining invaluable experience from an expert dermatologist in medical dermatology.
Tova is passionate about practicing a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to provide her patients with quality care and treatment. She believes each patient should be treated with care and dignity, and she reflects that in every appointment.
In her free time, Tova enjoys traveling the world and spending time with friends and family.

My son was very pleased and very happy with he learned and how nice she was. It was a short way which everyone loves lol. The office was clean and nice and the staff was nice as well and welcoming. He'll be returning

This was one of the first times I felt seen and heard by a doctor, which is a big deal for a BIPOC woman. Tovar and her assistant were kind and patient and while I wasn’t ready for a skin biopsy, I can appreciate the effort to find answers, especially when I go in every few months for and with eczema flares. Tovar in particular is highly recommended.
