Getting to know Tracy-Ann Hutchinson

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to supporting clients on their mental health journey. I create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered using a compassionate client-centered and evidence-based approach. I work collaboratively with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that works for them. I specialize in treating clients with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, Schizophrenia, Lifestyle transitions and ADHD, through medication management and brief psychotherapy. I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health and take a collaborative, client centered approach to every session. Over the years I have supported clients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. In today's world, reaching out for help may feel overwhelming. You don't have to go through it alone. Let me walk alongside you on your journey to healing and wellness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered using a compassionate client-centered and evidence-based approach. I work collaboratively with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that works for them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to working with clients is collaborative, compassionate and tailored to each individual's needs. Our initial session will be an initial consultation and assessment focused on understanding your concerns, symptoms, lifestyle and goals. It is a comprehensive evaluation that covers your past medical and psychiatric history. This thorough assessment allows me to get a full picture of your mental health and helps for us to develop an individualized treatment plan. Follow up visits typically involve monitoring your progress, providing medications and adjusting as needed and well as providing talk therapy. These sessions are an opportunity for us to discuss what is working, what's not working and make changes as needed. These assessments are provided in a non-judgmental space where you feel supported and empowered.
