*Mindful Therapy Group requires a credit card to be added to your account before your intake appointment with this Provider. After you book an appointment, a representative will call you to get your card information and confirm your appointment details.* I have been in Private Practice since 2007 as a board certified, Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for 18 years. I am licensed in both states, Washington and Oregon. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Nursing and a Master of Nursing from Washington State University. I strive to have a positive outlook and I am goal oriented, a good listener, empathic and nonjudgmental. My treatment approach to mental health care is focusing on the use of Cognitive behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), DBT skills training, pet therapy and functional medicine. I completed a Fellowship program Incorporating Functional medicine in my practice and believe diet and exercise play a significant role in how people feel and function in their daily lives. I offer pet therapy with Kai, my 6-year-old Australian labradoodle loves people and provides a therapeutic environment. Pet therapy has been shown to reduce anxiety, stress and plays an integral part in treatment.
