About Dr. Travis Lam
Dr. Travis Lam received his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He graduated from medical school at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He completed his dermatology residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio where he was the chief resident for Louis Stokes, VA Medical Center. Dr. Lam is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology and has professional memberships including the American Society for Mohs Surgery, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology.
After completing his residency in Ohio, he sought warmer weather and found a home in the Phoenix valley. He has been practicing and treating patients since 2010. His training and interests include Mohs micrographic surgery, general medical dermatology, as well as skin cancer evaluation and prevention. He strives to provide the highest quality and empathetic care to every one of his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Lam enjoys spending time with his family and anything outdoors, including all the great golfing and hiking around the Valley. He has a passion for exploring new places and has been blessed with travels throughout the world.

Dr. Lam and his Staff are #1 in my book. I highly recommend Dr. Lam. He took care of a Squamous Cell Carcinoma on top of my head exactly 1 year ago and got it all in about a 10 minute procedure. Today was just a checkup and I will continue to go back for checkups or concerns.

Got off to a slightly rough start but Dr Lam is working on it and I am certain it will get resolved quickly and completely. The office staff is delightful and they work hard to assure that all goes well for each and every patient. Sometimes there are minor growing pains, but I’m sure this group of individuals will pull together to fix what needs fixing. You can just tell by working with these fine folks that they care. That can’t be faked!

Dr. Lam is knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns. By far one of the best dermatologists in town and I'm very happy to have him looking after me. I would recommend him to any friend or family member without hesitation. Also, the office is modern/clean and I found the staff to be very helpful during my visit. Wait time was minimal.
