All meds (even controlled substances) will be sent electronically to your pharmacy during your appointment. After you book an appointment, I will email you further relevant information regarding the temporary transition to telepsychiatry.**
I strive to be a caring and compassionate psychiatrist who will listen to your story attentively and help you feel at ease. After collecting your initial history, I will provide you with a diagnostic understanding of your situation—taking into account both biological and environmental contributing factors. Specific treatment recommendations will provide you with a plan to improve your quality of life. When there are multiple effective treatment options available, I try to let patients participate in the decision-making process by educating them about acceptable available choices. My overall goal is to help you feel better as soon as possible.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, completed my Doctor of Medicine at the University of Iowa, and finished my Psychiatry residency at the University of California, San Diego.

I am covered in-network on all insurances except Kaiser. I do not take MediCAL, United Community Plan, Aetna Betterhealth or MediCARE products. If you have insurance I accept, no payment is required at the time of the initial visit. My office will bill insurance on your behalf and you will get a bill in the mail for any share-of-cost in several weeks.
