What should a new client know about working with you?

At your visit, we'll discuss your mental health history, current symptoms, and lifestyle to understand your needs. I’ll create a treatment plan tailored to you, which may include therapy, medications, and lifestyle changes. I can prescribe medications and will explain their benefits and potential side effects. Regular follow-ups will help monitor your progress. We’ll work on coping strategies, stress management, and other skills to improve your mental health. I may work with other healthcare providers to ensure you receive comprehensive care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We'll start by discussing how you've been feeling since. This includes any changes in your symptoms, mood, or behavior. If you’re on medication, we’ll review how it’s working for you, discuss any side effects, and make adjustments if necessary. We’ll talk about any challenges you’re facing and work on strategies to manage them. This might include discussing coping techniques, stress management, and other therapeutic approaches. Together, we’ll set short-term and long-term goals for your treatment and overall well-being.

I was in my appointment for 3 hours. She wouldn't give me the medication to help my problem. It was a total waste of an appointment. I will not be using Zoc Doc again after this. It's a waste of money and I don't get the meds I need. Pointless!!
