About Dr. Troy Diehl
Dr. Diehl earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Summa Health Systems-Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Akron, OH, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Wellington Orthopedics and the University of Cincinnati. During his residency, Dr. Diehl had the opportunity to treat patients of all ages for their orthopedic injuries. Additionally, during his fellowship with the Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Diehl participated treating collegiate as well as professional athletes from the NFL, ATP, and AVP.
Dr. Diehl is currently in private practice in Frisco, TX, and is a board certified surgeon. He is a member of several medical associations including the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Diehl resides in Frisco with his wife and their two children.

Lacks any concept of punctuality; Waited 45 mins. went and asked the administrative staff how long prior to seeing the Doctor. was told that wouldn't be seen within the hour but his PA was available. Unfortuantely his PA doesn't do any surgical procedures and therefore a waste of time.
Was offered to reschedule but couldn't be guranteed that would be seen in a reasonable time.
Doctors office that are better at marketing rather than punctuality send a message that only their time is valuable and everyone else's time isn't.
I would encourage reviewers to vote with your wallet and demand/expect some sense of punctuality.

Dr Diehl is a great guy in addition to being an excellent surgeon and doctor. He listens, he has a great bedside manner, and his office has never run late that I know of. He lets you get all your questions in without making you feel he has to get to the next patient. He has performed 2 rotator cuff surgeries and replaced a hip on my husband, plus has treated a shoulder injury for me and for this appointment, a sore arm. Can't say enough good things.

I was not happy with the wait time and check in procedure. I arrived at the recommended 20 minutes before appointment, actually 25 minutes. Both people doing check ins were on the phone and didn't acknowledge my presence. Then one finally told me to check in via a tablet located off to the side. put up a sign telling patients to do this. Received a tablet to fill out my life history. I came for a broken arm. This procedure was too complicated and time consuming. Then the tablet crashed and I had to get it restarted. more wasted time. I missed my appointment time because of this. I wasn't seen for another 45minutes. Then many of the same questions were asked again in the exam room where they should be asked!. All that info I provided earlier was never used. Waste of my time. I had a broken arm. I just needed it set and cast! My time is valuable also. Improve your check in process! Don't ask needless questions about the injury at check in. Get the patient back to see the dr at their given appt time! I was there early!

If you are looking for an awesome experience then you will want to visit this office.
