I was having the worst panic attack of my life, and not a single phone call, email, or text was sent to let me know my appointment had been canceled. That is beyond disrespectful. It is cruel, disheartening, and completely unacceptable, especially when someone is in the middle of a serious mental health crisis and desperately trying to get in contact with anyone for help. My heart rate was nearly 150, I was panicking, and I was not even in a condition where I could get myself to the hospital. I was trying to do the right thing by reaching out for medical help, only to be met with silence. No notice. No communication. Nothing. That kind of treatment is disturbing from people who claim to care for patients. At this point, I am beyond fed up with Zocdoc because this kind of thing keeps happening. You need to do better. People seeking help, especially for mental health, should not be ignored, dismissed, or left in the dark like this.

She just didn’t care to even cancel

I booked an appointment and waited hours for them to tell me the provider isn’t taking new patients so why are they even on zocdoc
Verified patientVideo visit
The virtual video chat was not functioning, we had to do our session by phone. It was tech hiccup after tech hiccup. She didn't prepare ahead of time and the appointment was ultimately a huge waste of time. Don't bother.

Words cannot describe how abusive she is. I told her I needed anxiety meds. She started digging .. bringing up mental illness issues that I had in the past and used it against me in a horrifying way. I told her the past medications I took didn’t help. She didn’t listen. She kept pushing out patient care. It was horrible. Now I sit here crying .. I just WANT HELP. I cannot leave the house due to anxiety and I cannot get to out patient care. This telehealth is the only thing I have. And she barred me from seeing any other psychiatrists at that company. Out patient is going to give me the same medications I have always gotten. Words cannot express the anger I have for her. She has inflicted pain on me …

Trudy seemed okay but once my pharmacy confirmed the medication I was taking, they reached back out to her about the dosage and she never responded. Seems like she didn’t care or couldn’t be bothered.

Amazing

I made an appt the same day, 3 hours and 10 minutes prior, but no one ever contacted me with any information. When the time came I called the office but the person who answered was whispering in a tone that was not understandable. I was hung up on and my three subsequent calls were unanswered. I left a voicemail but was never called back and it’s been 24 hours.

I booked an appointment on zocdoc for my husband with someone else, but the office called us to let us know that the doctor we booked with was unavailable and suggested Trudy. We are so glad that we went ahead with the appointment because Trudy is the first psychiatrist (nurse practitioner) in a long time that felt like a good fit. She was respectful, she understood the situation better than others, she was obviously caring and personable with a strong personality yet not inappropriately domineering. She seemed genuinely concerned and interested.

This place is extremely unprofessional and disorganized. After making an appointment, I received an email asking me to send my insurance card and a photo of my ID to confirm the booking. Later, I called because my appointment time had passed and I had heard nothing. Every time I called to inquire, the person on the phone would act as if they were helping but would end up hanging up, leading to a frustrating game of phone tag. This was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. It wasn’t until I emailed them that my calls were finally answered, only to be told they don’t offer same-day appointments. However, their email confirmation never mentioned this policy—they seemed more concerned with getting my personal information. I do not recommend this place. The service was terrible, they lack communication skills, and the professionalism was severely lacking. This is unacceptable.

Dr. Trudy is incredibly thorough and she genuinely, genuinely cares - I absolutely felt seen and heard!!!!!! She changed my life in just a few minutes... I am forever grateful!

While I’m sure she is a great psychiatrist, her inability to really listen and see my situation- and to make an almost instantaneous decision not to help me regain a steady course of medication- is exactly why people like me turn to drugs or worse. I expected no less from being open and honest about my past, it’s more common than not for psychiatrists to make up their own minds before even hearing your first words.

This appt apparently never existed-I made my appt on Zocdoc and received multiple confirmations and reminders from Zocdoc. When the time of the appt arrived I still had not received the Telehealth link so I called the number listed only to find out the appt never existed. This was NOT Trudy’s fault. I’m extremely disappointed and concerned because this was a med check appt.

NP was great, it was my first appt, i feel she addressed my main concern straight away, now its just a work in progress, glad to find a new provider who listens
