Dr. Tyler Derosia, DC

Chiropractor
2736 Maple Ave, Downers Grove, IL
Dr. Tyler DeRosia’s journey into healthcare began firsthand through dealing with sports injuries in high school and college. This early exposure pushed him toward the field of athletic training, where he eventually had the opportunity to work alongside a team chiropractor. During that time, he realized he loved being proactive with patient care rather than reactive. This pivotal experience guided him to see how he could help more people take charge of their health before issues arise, ultimately inspiring him to become a chiropractor. Today, patients meeting Dr. Tyler for the first time are instantly greeted by his warm, inviting energy. He is guided daily by Maya Angelou’s words: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” It is a philosophy that shapes his commitment to truly listening to his patients and expanding his professional knowledge to deliver the best possible care. What sets Dr. Tyler apart in his field is his unique dual background as both a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Chiropractor. This gives him a specialized perspective on how the human body moves, functions, and performs. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Iowa State University and went on to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic. To provide the most comprehensive care possible, he has also earned a Titleist Performance Institute Certification and utilizes advanced clinical modalities. His toolkit includes Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Dry Needling, and specialized Muscle and Fascial release techniques. Dr. Tyler’s greatest gift is his ability to take a complicated concept—like how your body moves, why it hurts, and what is limiting you—and make it make complete sense to you before fixing the root cause. Dr. Tyler joined the Korwitts Chiropractic Center team to continue providing outstanding care that empowers patients to understand their bodies.
