About Dr. Tzvi Bar-David
Dr. Bar-David serves as the director of the Division of Podiatric Surgery in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center - New York Presbyterian Hospital. He is also a member of the medical staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center and a consultant to the Columbia University Medical Center Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center.
Dr. Bar-David earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Foot Surgery. He is a proficient lecturer in foot surgery, with a special interest in bunion and deformity reconstruction, as well as diabetic wound healing and reconstruction utilizing skin replacement and other innovative techniques. He has extensive experience with orthotics and bracing for running and sports activities.
An active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Bar-David is locally involved in organizing lectures and meetings. He also serves on several community boards. Outside of medicine, he is an avid fisherman and a founding member of a local neighborhood charity musical group. He coaches little league baseball and is married with four children.
