Dr. Uche Uka-DNP is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than ten years of experience in healthcare. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, a Master of Science in Nursing, and a Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds to find the most suitable treatment model based on their diagnoses and mental health needs. These include pharmacological interventions, where she discusses treatment goals and guides patients in taking approved medications to help them achieve their therapeutic goals.

On my first visit it was fairly quick and to the point, though my medications never got put in until I called the office. I recieved many texts and email reminders about my second appointment, but a few of them had the wrong date listed. When I showed up for the visit at the time ZocDoc said, I waited 30 minutes before logging off because Dr. Uka never showed and when I called her office they did not answer the phone.
