I provide thoughtful, personalized psychiatric care and medication management for busy adults and families navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use concerns, burnout, and major life transitions. I hold a Master's in Family Health Nursing from Texas Woman's University, a Doctor of Public Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Nursing & Student Community Center, and a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Wilkes University. With over 28 years of healthcare experience, I am a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background. I am experienced in providing culturally sensitive care and have held numerous healthcare leadership positions at a Fortune 500 company during my 18-year tenure.

Dr. Irikannu was absolutely fantastic - full stop. She has a wonderful, extremely comfortable bedside manner and really acts as a "concierge" doctor to her patients. Other psychiatrists I've seen have not gone that extra mile.
As an example, when I had trouble finding a medication in stock, she helped me find, call and contact at least 6 different pharmacies when supplies ran out (a pharmacy says they can fill, then they can't) and stayed in constant communication. She made sure I received the treatment I needed and wouldn't quit until we succeeded. I felt like she was on my team, not just a one-and-done appointment. Couldn't recommend her services enough.

Dr. Irikannu was able to help me with my ADHD. Initially, I took medication for treatment but I didn’t like using meds so instead she helped me develop strategies for success. I still use them to this day and they’ve helped me become a straight A student.

Dr. Irikannu is an excellent Mental Health Provider. She is very knowledgeable and professional. I found her to be extremely compassionate and empathetic. Dr. Irikannu is a champion for mental health. She is very supportive and a good listener. I highly recommend her services. I left the session feeling charged and motivated.

Dr. Irikannu was instrumental in my journey to bettering my mental health and consequently, my life. She gave me tools to improve my decision making and beat certain vices that I had in my life. A major aspect of the process was the normalization of mental health issues, and the framing of getting help for them as being equivalent to a physical ailment requiring intervention to get better. I was able to become an advocate for mental health in other people because of her as well. Your thoughts and concerns are both heard and factored in. Would definitely recommend to everyone!
