I am passionate about being a healthcare provider because I get to make a significant difference in each patient's life. I feel honored to build long-lasting relationships with my patients and guide them in making healthy lifestyle choices. I emphasize education when caring for my patients because it leads to better health outcomes and decreases ER visits and hospitalizations. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? Primary care providers should adopt a holistic approach to healthcare. They should care for their patients based on a mutual understanding of their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. A holistic approach to healthcare fosters a robust provider-patient relationship, builds trust, increases patient satisfaction, and improves patient outcomes. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and four boys, ages 12, 9, 6, and 1 (they keep me on my toes). I also enjoy learning new languages and cultures, watching movies, traveling, cooking, and singing in the church choir.
