With over 14 years of experience in Internal Medicine, I specialize in chronic disease detection and management, including Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Lupus, Vitamin Deficiency, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, and Heart Disease. I also focus on preventive care for adults 18 and older, including the elderly.
I treat urgent care ailments both in my Duarte office and online via my HIPAA-compliant website. Common urgent care issues I handle include:

I earned my Doctor of Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. I completed my Internal Medicine residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. Before that, I received a Master’s in Public Health from Boston University, studying access to health care and public health law. For undergrad, I studied Psychobiology and Philosophy at the University of Southern California (USC—Go Trojans!). I speak Spanish in the exam room and welcome a wide spectrum of patients. I accept various HMO plans through Regal Medical Group, IPA, Medicare, and PPO plans like Cigna, Aetna, Blue Shield of California, and Anthem Blue Cross.
My practice is nearly paperless, ideal for patients who dislike long waits and prefer making appointments and completing intake forms online at their convenience, with timely results via a patient portal. My goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to each individual's unique needs.
