About Dr. Ushma Sheth
At Gauld Foot and Ankle, Dr. Sheth is committed to bringing comprehensive podiatric care to the communities of Marietta and Buckhead with two convenient locations. We offer select evening and Saturday hours, as well as in-house X-ray and laser therapy for fungal toenails, pain, and warts.
Dr. Sheth is a highly trained and skilled foot and ankle specialist with experience treating a wide array of foot and ankle conditions, from minor problems to complex reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. She takes pride in having a genuine interest in each and every one of her patients while providing them with the utmost compassion and exceptional care.
Dr. Sheth completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia before earning her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her surgical residency training at Virtua Health System, where she received extensive training in lower extremity trauma, diabetic limb salvage, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. To further her surgical expertise, Dr. Sheth completed an apprenticeship in Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery.
Her interests include all facets of podiatric medicine and surgery, with an emphasis on holistic and wholesome approaches to treating foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Sheth is experienced in advanced minimally invasive techniques for plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis, including platelet-rich plasma and amniotic regenerative injections, as well as Tenex Treatment-a minimally invasive, non-surgical approach for eliminating scar tissue, the source of chronic tendon pain. She is also trained in laser treatment and controlled micro-penetration of the nail bed to help treat nail fungus.
Dr. Sheth is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
