“Uyen is really excellent and so is this office. I got stuck in standstill traffic for an hour because a ramp onto 676 closed 2 minutes before I encountered it, but the office was super accommodating.
Uyen was a great listener, really knowledgable, and quickly solved my problems. She was really good at educating me about my condition in a way that was understandable to me as a non-expert! And even though my skin condition is mild, she took it really seriously.”

About Uyen Bui
Uyen Bui, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in general medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland, College Park and graduated Cum Laude from D’Youville College with a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies. Prior to attending Physician Assistant school, Uyen worked as a medical assistant for two years at a dermatology clinic that specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, general dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology.
Uyen is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, in which she completed the rigorous SDPA Diplomate Fellowship program. She also obtained months of extensive training in general and cosmetic dermatology under the exceptional providers of TDS. Uyen has a special interest in skin of color and treats all types of general and complex dermatology, including the prevention and treatment of skin cancer as well as acne, psoriasis, and eczema.
Uyen was born and raised in Vietnam, and now resides in Brooklyn, New York. She is fluent in Vietnamese and aims to provide compassionate care for all patients, regardless of skin type and color. Her goal is to have her patients feel comfortable with their appearance and confident in their own skin.

PA Bui was a great provider, I enjoyed her straight forward professional demeanor. She focused on my concerns first and foremost then proceeded with my skin cancer screening diligently. She was understanding of my needs and offered options and quick clear information so I never felt uninformed. The assistant that saw me before hand was also very clear and diligent, asking questions to make sure I was giving the best and most important information. I really liked my experience here.

Not bad but not great either. I know I have a chronic condition as I've been dealing with it for years. I'm pretty experienced in it as when I fast the issue isn't too problematic. So to suggest a solution that doesn't take a look more into the internal systematic issues is not too good. Sort of came off as dismissive. So can't say I'd recommend.

The PA was wonderful. So was the Medical Assistant. Very informative and she took a biopsy to make sure all was good. Gave me lots of samples of sunscreen. Very nice of her. Office is clean and beautiful.

I am more than grateful I chose Uyen as my provider. From the beginning to the end of my appointment she was very welcoming and helpful going through every treatment options available. She was very quick but also efficient which is a quality not many providers have. It is very clear she’s knowledgeable, genuine and cares greatly about her patients. She will be the only dermatologist I see from now on because I know she has my best interests at heart.

I had to find a new Dermatologist as my insurance changed and my previous Dermatologist is out of network. I did not really expect much but I loved the provider ! She is so knowledgeable, has a clear understanding of treatment, great listener , explained every details and her treatment plan was so simple and straightforward.
