About Uzoma Okeiyi
Uzoma Okeiyi is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She attended Middle Georgia State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She completed her Womens Health Nurse Practitioner program at University of South Alabama. Uzoma became a nurse practitioner because of her interest in providing accessible healthcare to women from diverse background. As a nurse practitioner, Uzoma strives to provide compassionate, responsive, and personalized obstetric and gynecologic to women through their lifespan. Uzoma is a firm believer in shared decision making, active listening, and patient education, which is highlighted in the care she provides. She is excited to join the Morehouse Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and looking forward to contributing to the advancement of health equity. Outside of work, Uzoma enjoys spending time with family, community service, reading, and traveling to beach destinations.

I’m usually very anxious going into any doctors appointments but The nurse (Mia) & the NP Ms.Uzoma made me feel very comfortable! I was a few minutes late to my appointment & expected I may have to wait but they pulled me right to the back. The appointment was fast & easy! A great choice!

Dr. Oki was nice & pleasant. Informative as well. Her assistant, Eartha was not so friendly. She wasn’t mean, but she wasn’t nice. The ladies at check in were okay. The lady who checked me out was great. I don’t understand why they don’t validate your parking ticket. You will have to pay to park here. Overall, I would visit again, but I hope the staff is a little more nurturing next time.
