About Valessa Mesidor
She completed her bachelor's degree at Molloy University and went on to receive her Master of Science Degree in Nursing specializing in Family Health at the same university. Valessa has 8 years of experience in emergency medicine as a registered nurse, including critical care and psychiatry. Valessa says, "Now that I am a nurse practitioner in family health, I know that primary care has a lot of different parts that can be hard to tell apart." People have different hopes for their relationships with their health care providers. Some just want to see their provider when they're sick, while others hope to become close with them. If you don't know what you need from your primary care provider, ask yourself what you want to get out of your health care.
Valessa wants to build personal relationships with her patients; therefore, she is always available and eager to lend a hand. My patients deserve nothing less than the best possible treatment, and that's what this is all about.
At Nova Family Health, we prioritize ensuring each patient receives the time they need with our providers, which is why we request that you keep your scheduled appointment and arrive on time. As a courtesy, we'll call to confirm your appointment. If you need to reschedule, please notify us so we can accommodate other patients awaiting care. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Without this notice, a $75 no-show fee may be charged to your account, which is not covered by insurance and will be billed directly to you. After three consecutive no-shows, we may discontinue our care for you. By scheduling, you agree to provide a credit card that may be charged for missed appointments without proper notice. Thank you for helping us provide timely care to all our patients.

What’s the purpose of finding a doctor who takes your insurance and medical information, meets you and never contacts you again? I called and emailed for further information and I get nothing. This was a waste of my time and I would not recommend her to anyone.
