Ms. Doobay did not meet my needs at all in this appointment. She did most of the talking which surprised me given that I had not given her nearly enough information to start advising me. Throughout the meeting, she would self promote her own business and felt inconsistent with her advice. She asked and analyzed a lot about my gender identity and attempted at giving advice on it when it was NOT something I wanted to discuss at all. She assumed a lot about my life after letting me talk for a few minutes, and was quick to deny me treatment with the little information she had. Her mannerisms were with good intentions but it unfortunately wasted time and made me feel awful after this visit. At one point of the appointment, she even took off her shoes and was barefoot for a duration of the meeting, something I viewed as unprofessional and uncomfortable. If you're seeking help, I would advise to go elsewhere and not waste your time begging someone to listen to your issues. Thank you.

Simply put, she is the best. Extremely thorough, patient compassionate and kind everything you could ask for a psychiatrist. Impeccable attention to detail cannot speak more highly of Dr Doobney.

She was very attentive and empathetic. Listened to my problems and concerns with out judgement. Very knowledgeable and expressive. I felt very comfortable and will be continuing sessions as needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Doobay. I've had experiences where practitioners push medications without fully understanding the patient and that was not the case with her. I felt she truly wanted to assess my situation so that she can treat me as an individual and not just another number. I would definitely recommend her to anyone genuinely looking for help.
