“Vanessa was kind, and professional, but I have 2 complaints that might be more to do with our US Health System than anything else:
a) The appointment was in my Healthcare Network, but because I was under my deductible I had to pay for the visit and I wish I knew exactly how much it would cost beforehand (around two hundred bucks). That seems like a thing I should have been told before the visit; in every other industry you pay before the visit.
b) The appointment felt rushed. Little was asked of my health background, diet and health habits. Their treatments seemed more general and less personalized, and less aimed at getting to the heart of the issue.
That being said, the regiment they put me on has helped so far and it was an overall okay experience.”

About Vanessa Hinojosa
Vanessa is a nationally board certified physician assistant, licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She began her work as a passionate Dermatology PA in 2013 after graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
Vanessa joined Dynamic Dermatology in October 2020 and is thrilled to be a part of such a highly skilled, compassionate team. She was raised in San Antonio and loves being able to serve the community she grew up in. She is also an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
When she is not in the office treating patients, she enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her husband and 3 children.

Easy and quick, super great bedside manner and clear communication. Plus staff was really friendly besides front desk (they just seemed busy which is understandable). Highly recommend!

They were welcoming from the point of walking in. Contacted me prior to my appt to verify insurance which is awesome so I’m not stuck there waiting. I had to take my two boys and not once did they make me feel uncomfortable about that. Super clean and organized. My provider came in within minutes after being placed in a room and didn’t keep me waiting at all. very clear and precise on my treatment plan. i loved it.

Get bedside manner. Answered all my questions and provided clear explanations. I waited less than five minutes in the lobby before before called back to an examination room. Will be going back if I ever need a dermatologist.
