Hi, I am Dr. Bastien. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in adult psychiatry. I am an experienced registered nurse who has been nursing for more than 12 years. I obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Florida International University. I believe and practice treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and empathy. My treatment approach is medication management alone or medication management with talk therapy.
I really enjoy helping individuals who are experiencing psychiatric symptoms and observe their progress to stability by functioning to their full capability. I provide mental health care to individuals who are suffering from depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, PTSD, mood disorder, psychosis, personality disorders, and more.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I provide patient-centered care and unconditional positive regard. My passion is helping individuals feel empowered over their mental health journey and helping them reach mental stability, so they can live and enjoy life to their best of potential.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We will begin with brief introductions to get to know each other. Then we will explore the specific challenges you are experiencing. Next, we will create a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs and for measurable progress as we work through our follow-up sessions.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
