Because of the huge impact COVID’s effects have played on our society, these programs are very impacted. One I couldn’t make an appointment for 3 months. Lifestance got me hooked up so I could continue the support I needed to help me continue to work in a toxic environment. I must give a big shout out to Dr. Varun Mohan. He helped identify issues first day. He supported my mental health work, as did Courtney Barnes. I eventually chose to retire and have had nothing but good night sleep, and time to work on healing body, mind and spirit. It’s been an effective journey and I’m forever grateful. I shan’t forget to mention the office help who helped me get paperwork started and appointments made through the tears of frustration I was experiencing. Bravo to everyone”

Varun Mohan, D.O. has a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in General Psychiatry at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, New York with additional fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where he served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Mohan provides psychiatric evaluations and treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults. He has spent his training working with underserved patients and families that have a wide spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and ADHD. He currently holds a California Medical License and New York Medical License.
