Getting to know Venrice Kerr

Are you experiencing difficulty with managing life stressors, career, family, raising a child(ren), physical and mental health? Let me help you take a step to improve your mental health to provide the mental clarity to handle life stressors more efficiently. It brings me joy to help others reach their full potential. Let me help you! I am a dual-board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from SUNY Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2004. Shortly thereafter, I obtained my master’s degree while working in an acute care setting for four years. I graduated and obtained my certification as a family nurse practitioner in 2007. I have worked in internal medicine, family medicine, and urgent care. Through my years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I have seen the impact mental health conditions have on my patients’ overall physical health. To provide a more comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care, I pursued postgraduate studies in psychiatric mental at the University of Cincinnati. With both certifications and experience, I have a keen understanding of both physical and mental health/mental illness and how it affects our well-being.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
