About Dr. Vicki Carr

Dr. Carr completed dual training in Dermatology and Pediatrics. Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. She was the first in the country to complete a combined training program in Dermatology and Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She was raised in Houston, Texas and attended college at the University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was honored with membership in the AOA, the medical honor society. During her residency training, she was voted Best Resident by her peers, and was a resident member of the Camp Discovery Committee through the American Academy of Dermatology, where she volunteered for the children’s camp during her summers. Dr. Carr’s interest is adult and pediatric dermatology as well as skin cancer surgery and cosmetics. Dr. Carr enjoys baking, gardening, traveling and spending time with her husband and 2 kids.
