Vickie L Thomas PMHNP, BC, MSN Biography: Mrs. Vickie Thomas is originally from Kentucky and obtained her MSN through University of Kentucky as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is credentialed to provided services across the lifespan beginning at age 6. Currently with 17 years of experience as a PMHNP she has provided services to several outpatient clinics and multiple inpatient hospitals. Mrs. Thomas is licensed as a APRN (PMHNP) in Florida, Kentucky, West Virginia and recently has provided services in North Carolina and Ohio. Her focus has been with acute and chronic mental illness including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD. She has also worked in Forensics and Geriatrics. Mrs. Thomas is dedicated to providing excellent psychiatric care for her patients. Including medication management, education of diagnosis and risks versus benefits of prescribed medication, support for the patient and loved ones as well as patient advocacy. She believes in building a strong professional relationship with her patients and their family members if needed. She enjoys being supportive with colleagues such as therapists and physicians. Outside of her psychiatric services, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and the outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance and encourages her patients to find that balance.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
After you request your appointment, you will be sent an invite link for Brightside Health. You will need to enter your insurance and payment information to confirm your appointment.During your initial consultation we will craft a treatment plan personalized to your needs, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. You will also be able message me directly at anytime via the messaging section of your Brightside Health portal - a tool where will also track your progress, access resources, and see your treatment plan details.
