About Dr. Victor Lagmay
Dr. Lagmay earned his Doctor of Medicine from New York University, where he also completed his internship and residency training in Otolaryngology. He further specialized with a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center. He is the director of Head and Neck Cancer Surgery at the Maimonides Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Lagmay continues to provide general ear, nose, and throat care to adult patients, with a special interest in sinonasal diseases, including sinusitis and nasal polyps. He is board-certified in his field and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He maintains memberships in the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, the American Thyroid Association, and the New York Head & Neck Society.

Had a lovely appt with Dr Lagmay. We talked through what’s going on, eliminated some possibilities and are coordinating with my allergist. I have a follow up in a month. Everyone there was kind and helpful. It was quick to have my hearing checked and the pressure. He listened to all my concerns and talked me through them. Highly recommend :)

Got a surprising amount done in a short amount of time. Everyone was very professional.
I went for an ear cleaning and check up, since I had a drainage. After learning nothing physically out of the ordinary was inside the ear, I got a hearing test to confirm my suspicions about sensitive hearing. Nothing worrysome there either. So I didn't need special ear cleaning.
The doctor was kind enough to answer questions that were more general and less specific to the ear issue I went for.

It was great! Waited less than 10 minutes. I was brought in and was asked a few questions by a nurse. The doctor came in shortly after. He did a thorough assessment and explained his findings in a way that I could understand. He made recommendations and asked for my input to ensure that I was comfortable. Overall, I had a great experience!
