Victoria Bruyette, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Springs Behavioral Health. After her service she completed a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Psychology and Business Management from Excelsior College in 2005. She then went on to become an Emergency Medical Technician serving the Colorado Springs area. Following that, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado State University (CSU), Pueblo in 2015 and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS). Later, she achieved her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from University of New Hampshire (UNH) and continues to work in the education system as a clinical preceptor. She treats individuals across the lifespan, specializing in pediatrics who endure issues such as trauma, ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, CD, ODD, and OCD, as well as adults and Veterans who suffer with severe, persistent, and chronic mental illness, addictions, and PTSD. Over the past decade, Victoria garnered her experience in the field of mental health by working in many settings, to include inpatient with in the Veterans Administration system, large and private outpatient practices, Medication Assisted Treatment programs, and in the Community Health environment. It is Victoria’s absolute passion to serve others. Human connectedness will always be her anchor and inspiration as she goes through life. She is gentle, compassionate, and fun! She has an integrative approach to mental health care that incorporates nutrition, exercise, blood and genetic testing, psychotherapy, and family support, all while collaborating with schools and outside providers such as PCPs to provide the most comprehensive care possible for each individual.
