About Dr. Victoria Colmenero
Dr. Victoria Colmenero is a board-certified family medicine physician who brings a wealth of experience in providing care for patients of all ages. Dr. Colmenero is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. She has a particular interest in fourth trimester care, including lactation and breastfeeding medicine, and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Her medical interests also include preventative medicine, adolescent health, women’s health, and chronic care management.
Dr. Colmenero’s journey in medicine began in her hometown of El Paso, where she attended medical school after meeting her husband during a master’s program in Fort Worth. She completed her residency in Waco and then began practicing in West Texas. Since 2019, Dr. Colmenero has practiced full-spectrum family medicine, including the delivery of over 300 babies—a testament to her dedication and skill.

The person who took me back was very forgetful and had to ask the same questions a couple of times to record the answers. She was also the only person at the desk and didn’t know how to check me out, so she told me I could leave and someone would contact me about my copay. I was never contacted but my credit card on file was charged with no explanation.
The doctor was kind and attentive. I just felt she was quick to move on.
The lab person who drew my blood was nice but wore an earbud the entire time and I could hear what they were listening to.

I met with the doctor about two months ago, but I still haven’t received my annual check result. It seems the lab lost my blood sample, or some other reason. This is unacceptable!

After following the directions to the office I ended up being 4min late, the suite number on ZD was off so I was driving around the parking looking. I signed in, then waited in the lobby and then the front desk told me that the doctor couldn’t see me because I was over the 5 min period,when I tell you that I walked in 45 sec before the grace period I’m serious. I think they made my checkin longer as an excuse that I was later? It’s insane she told me no problem while checking me in and then made me wait in the lobby only to say I can’t be seen. I told them I drove 30min to see this doctor and I asked if they can give me some grace since I actually technically walked in the door still in time and got aloof responses. I told them not to reschedule me. I’ve seen other people have same problem on google reviews but they delete them..

My appointment was scheduled for 10:30, and I was already sitting in front of the doctor by 10:45. I have to take time off to go to the doctor, so I’m super appreciative that they respected the appointment time. Super friendly staff! Everyone was really sweet and had smiles on their faces. Very excited to have them as my new PCP for our family.

I search and booked this is a dermatology appointment. It says “skin cancer screening.” I arrived at my appointment and told my doctor was I was there and she looked at me and said she wasn’t a dermatologist. Kind of strange it showed up as one on Zodoc but I ended up taking the appointment as my check up and she was great! Recommend, but not as a dermatologist !

I’d highly recommend Dr Colmenero, I hadn’t seen a doctor in nearly a decade due to terrible past experiences, and I’m so glad I tried again here. Staff is very friendly and Dr Colmenero listened and addressed every concern I had. I’ll definitely be returning :)

The office was small but well kept. The receptionist initially said there wouldn’t be enough space to bring my husband and kids into my appt with me but after waiting over 30 minutes for my appt I went to get them and bring them into my appt room with me, which did, indeed, have room for all of us.
Although I arrived on time, I did have to wait longer than I liked to be seen. I was pleasantly surprised with the doctor, however. If it weren’t for her, her kindness, understanding, and expertise, I wouldn’t have decided to come back.

I liked the Dr. a lot on a personal level. I am very proactive with my health and love to improve and optimize my well-being for longevity. The only negative is that the Dr. knew less about gene mutation and vitamin deficiencies than I did. I would love to find a medical clinician to partner with that has deeper knowledge of wellness without prescriptions.
