I would always follow my father around when I was little, as he was a Pediatrician . He suddenly passed in 2020 due to Covid, it's in that moment I realized the importance of speaking and communicating with patients. I've learned the importance of knowing that patients have so much going on that we as clinicians do not see. Many things impact patients health including their home life, family , and mental well being. Approaching patients in front of me while keeping in mind all the important moving parts of life is my main goal.
