If anxiety, depression, mood changes, or a difficult life transition are making everyday life harder, I offer a space to speak openly and begin making sense of what you’re experiencing.
I began my career in the Emergency Department, caring for people during some of their most vulnerable moments. That experience shaped my commitment to helping patients seek support early and understand their options before challenges become harder to manage.
At Liv Well Psychiatry, I combine evidence-based treatment with attentive, individualized care. I look beyond symptoms to understand how you’re sleeping, functioning, connecting with others, and feeling about yourself. Together, we’ll develop a practical treatment plan guided by your needs, preferences, and goals.
I want you to understand the reasoning behind my recommendations and feel comfortable asking questions. As your care progresses, we’ll review what’s helping and make thoughtful adjustments. Our work will focus on changes that matter to you—whether that means feeling more present with loved ones, managing daily demands, or finding greater stability.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Choosing a mental health provider is personal. I want you to feel comfortable speaking openly, asking questions, and sharing concerns—even when you’re unsure how to explain what you’re experiencing.
My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I take time to understand how your symptoms affect your life and what you want to change. I’ll explain my recommendations clearly and include you in decisions about your care. If we consider medication, we’ll discuss the potential benefits, side effects, and any hesitations you may have.
As we work together, I welcome honest feedback about what’s helping and what isn’t. We’ll review your progress and make thoughtful adjustments, with your goals guiding our work. You can expect respectful conversations and clear next steps throughout your care.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We start by understanding what brought you here and what you’d like to feel differently in your daily life. During your first appointment, we’ll discuss your symptoms, health history, previous treatment experiences, and goals. You’ll have space to share your concerns and ask questions.
From there, we’ll develop a treatment plan together. I’ll explain my recommendations, discuss options—including medication when appropriate—and help you understand what to expect. My goal is for you to leave with a clearer understanding of your concerns and a practical next step.
At follow-up visits, we’ll review what’s improving, what remains difficult, and any side effects or concerns. Your feedback helps guide adjustments, so your care continues to reflect your needs and progress.
