About Dr. Viji Thomas

Dr. Viji Thomas completed Anesthesiology residency and then Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management from Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Thomas has been in full time Pain Management practice for 20 years now. At Gilead Pain Care, Dr. Thomas and Nurse Practitioner Robert Issac, focuses on chronic pain management with multi-disciplinary approach. Physical Therapy referrals, Pain Medication management, Injection treatments, Surgical consultation referrals are part of the treatment options. Treatment goals include improvement in pain and activities of daily living as chronic pain in most cases are difficult to eliminate completely. Treatment goals and plan are discussed with patient at initial consultation and subsequently during follow up visits. Telemedicine visits are available intermittently with in person visits. The providers and Staff at Gilead Pain Care treat patients with compassion as they journey through life with chronic pain.

great been coming for years
I have a horrible back injury from 16 years ago in Las Vegas and have been pushed aside and made to feel that my condition was minimal with no clear understanding of what was wrong until I met Dr. Thomas. He clearly communicated what the issue was that I was seeking treatment for and provided a treatment plan that I believe will work out well he also attended to managing my pain I highly recommend him!
