I am board-certified in psychiatry. I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Government Medical College, Patiala. I completed my residency training at West Virginia University School of Medicine, where I also served as Chief Resident in the psychiatry residency program. Following residency, I pursued fellowship training in sleep disorders at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. During my residency training, I was awarded the prestigious SAMHSA fellowship. I am licensed to practice in Illinois, Texas, the District of Columbia, and Maryland. I see a wide array of clients, including children as young as four years old. I have special expertise in reducing and consolidating psychiatric medications for patients on multiple medicines. My areas of expertise include ADHD, adult and childhood mood disorders, adult and childhood bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, and anger management. I also have expertise in managing sleep disorders and opioid and alcohol dependency. I speak English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
