“Dr. Tran was incredibly kind and professional. However, I didn’t feel as heard as I had hoped. The experience made me feel rushed in and out. Instead of listening attentively and asking insightful questions to gain a deeper understanding, it seemed like I was merely assisting him in completing a form or worksheet. While I would give Dr. Tran another chance, I feel compelled to bring a notebook or something with questions to ensure that I don’t leave feeling like I’ve wasted my time and money.”

About Dr. Vinh Son Tran
Vinh Son Tran, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Tran earned his medical degree from the Eastern Virginia Medical School, and completed a family and community medicine residency training at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Prior to joining the GW MFA, he worked at a primary care practice for five years in Virginia where he gained experience in special interests which include managing transgender hormone therapy and LGBT primary care, on top of practicing comprehensive family medicine from pediatrics to geriatrics within a Healthcare Professional Shortage Area.

Doctor Tran was great he and his staff were very considerate of my reason for visit they were all very knowledgeable on any questions I had and Doctor Tran explain all medication he prescribed.

Overall it was an 8 out of 10. The problem was that no one was at the reception desk when I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment time and no one showed up until 12:55PM
