Getting to know Vivian Bedu-Addo

If you have tried to get help before and felt unheard, I want you to know you are not too much. I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with nursing experience since 2010, including emergency care and years in behavioral health, plus doctoral training in research. I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, trauma related stress, and personality concerns, in LGBTQ+ affirming care. My first priority is listening and earning your trust. Together we will set the pace, name what matters most right now, and build a plan you can understand and feel good about.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In the first visit we will get to know each other, review your history, and clarify your goals. I walk through options step by step, using evidence based medication management and therapy supports when helpful. You stay in the driver’s seat, and I focus on clear education, comfort, and safety at every step.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Reaching out takes courage, especially when you are tired of explaining yourself. I am currently accepting new adult patients, with appointments available within the week. If you want a calm, approachable clinician who listens closely, explains things clearly, and meets you where you are, I would be honored to work with you.
