Nice and easy! I got an X-ray right away, the doctor saw me soon after, explained my issue clearly and offered treatment plans. I got my treatment, a follow-up appointment, referrals and was done with everything in under an hour.

Came to see a doctor due to a work situation. It was an overall hefty wait time the usual; people coming after me being seen before me issue. I was seen by a PA Vivian then was told the doctor would come. He didn’t come until 45 mins later with a (shadow) It was evident he didn’t want to deal with me due to his demeanor and attitude, didn’t even tell me his name. Asked weird questions like who my lawyer was or what I’ve been doing since the incident; like I can work in the first place. Claim he deals with workers compensation but want you to do all the work and get forms and such when they can directly request that information with my permission. He stayed for 3 mins went next door to a Caucasian gentleman and spoke to him with the utmost respect even apologized for his tardiness. Simple interactions are enough to write off an entire practice because how one individual treats you.
This isn’t a review on the practice or Ms Chen but that specific interaction with the doctor.

Vivian was gentle, helpful and a clear communicator during a time when I was more nervous than usual, in high levels of pain, and distressed. I was able to easily get an X-ray, and get necessary prescriptions as well as recommendations for MRI and PT. Because she is a PA, her attending doctor also came to take a look. His bedside manner kind of freaked me out because he was more rough and I was in pain. But otherwise, a 5/5 experience.

When you first walk in you are greeted by a friendly staff. The office is clean and they offer hot coffee and reading materials. They also have a television that you can watch. The wait time is not bad. I always show up early because I hate being late to anything and am notified of the wait times. The doctor is very nice. She takes the time to listen and also gives feed back.

This is the fastest appointment I’ve ever had and it included an x-ray! Front desk staff was pleasant, check in was quick(fill out your forms ahead of time, it’s worth it). I arrived 10 minutes early, even before Dr Chen, and was prepped and ready by the time she came. Everything was explained carefully, and I was given time to ask questions, along with the date for my next appointment. It all sounds speedy, but I never felt rushed. Will definitely return and recommend this office.

Dr. Chen and the team at NY Orthopedics were all very friendly. They had me in and out within 30 minutes total. Appointment included an X-ray, physical exam, diagnosis and scheduling a follow up. Dr. Chen listened well and answered all my questions as they directly applied to my situation, not in generalities but specific to me which was refreshing.
