What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to providing therapy for you is based primarily on my being open-minded, affirming, and solution-focused, which will likely reduce the time you spend in therapy. Using various forms of psychotherapy, I assist individuals, couples and families in addressing the challenges that interrupt their lives, and reduce their “quality of life.” That includes but is not limited to therapy for marriage and relationship issues, family issues, and recovery from various mood and anxiety disorders..

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Once we establish some rapport, we will work together to complete an assessment of your overall well-being. After each session, you'll receive a written assignment, based upon the content of the current session and the issues you identified. These assignments, completed as “prescribed,” before your next session, will likely help you solve the problems that brought you to therapy, in a timely manner.
