Dr. Wael Zakaria Eldarawy, who earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine, brings extensive expertise to NYGICare. He completed his residency in Urology at Ain Shams University Hospital, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at New York Methodist Hospital. With many years of experience in advanced procedures, Dr. Eldarawy provides excellent care for common clinical conditions such as colorectal cancer screening and peptic ulcer disease, as well as more complex gastrointestinal diseases, including pancreatic-biliary disorders.

I needed to see a doctor urgently but didn’t want to go to the er and this office had availability and close to my home. The doctor was very professional, knowledgeable, and I felt comfortable to talk with him. He took action right away to get a treatment plan going, and answered all my questions. I am very pleased with everything that he did, suggested and hopefully we will be able to solve the problem and issues that were hurting me. Definitely recommend and will be continuing care with him if needed.

Dr Eldarawy was personable and pleasant. I was referred by my general practitioner and was pleased overall. However, my wait time was an hour and 45minutes.

The visit was short, simple and to the point. The were friendly and were not hesitant to explain information. The area however, is a bit of a distance if you live in east flatbush or canarsie so i advise leaving an hour or two early.
