Wale Adeniji, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
CA
Welcome, my name is Wale Adeniji, pronounced Wa-lay. The origin of my name comes from Nigeria and holds the meaning “royalty comes home.” When I think of royalty, luxury comes to mind. The ability to sustain peace within the mind and body is a luxury! I strive to sustain peace within my mind and body by maintaining a journal of gratitude, running a half marathon every year, and devoting time to laugh with loved ones. I have provided psychiatric treatment to the severely mentally ill for several years. I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of California and a Master’s in Public Health from Tulane University. I am also a Certified Mental Health and Nutrition Clinical Specialist. I see firsthand that psychotropic medications can be effective in managing mental health symptoms; however, radical improvement comes from committing to daily positive lifestyle practices. I am excited to share my knowledge about nutrition and psychotropic medications. Teaming up with Wale's Inspiring Nursing Network (WINN) is an opportunity to receive medication management and treatment for post-traumatic stress syndrome, anxiety, and depression. Let’s WINN together!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
