About Dr. Warren C Swegal
Dr. Swegal treats patients with head and neck cancer, salivary gland disease, thyroid disease, sleep apnea, and head and neck tumors. He maintains a clinical interest in these conditions, as well as xerostomia research.
He is experienced in transoral robotic surgery, hypoglossal nerve stimulator implantation, endoscopic sinus surgery, and sialoendoscopy. Dr. Swegal completed his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University and pursued a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins University. He also completed his residency training at Henry Ford Hospital. In 2018, he received the Wayne State School of Medicine Excellence in Teaching Award and was nominated for the Henry Ford Hospital Outstanding Resident Award that same year. He speaks English.
