Wemimo Ojetunde, APRN, RN

Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
TX
I believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported on their journey toward better mental health. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a strong background in psychiatric nursing, critical care, and behavioral health. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, attention-related concerns, behavioral challenges, and substance use disorders. My clinical experience includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary treatment teams. These experiences have strengthened my ability to look at the whole person not simply a diagnosis and develop individualized care that reflects each patient’s unique needs and goals. My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe effective mental health treatment begins with building a trusting relationship where patients feel comfortable sharing their experiences without judgment. I work collaboratively with patients to understand their concerns, discuss treatment options, monitor progress, and make thoughtful adjustments when needed. Whether you are seeking support for a new concern, managing an ongoing mental health condition, or looking for help navigating a difficult period in life, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel empowered to participate in your care. “You are more than your diagnosis, and your voice matters in every step of your treatment.”
